An architect by profession for 15 years, Anil got interested in the markets and soon got drawn away from architecture over a decade ago. Since then, he has been a freelance technical analyst and market watcher. He has been writing the Technical analysis related articles in a monthly investment newsletter, The Rational Investor, since March 1996. He writes a weekly technical analysis column for ValueNotes, which has also been published at Itspace.com.

Arun Jethmalani
Arun has had extensive experience in IT, management consulting and equity research. He has been a columnist with the Economic Times (India's largest financial daily) for five years and has also written for Business World (India's No.1 business magazine), apart from being published on numerous web-sites. He has edited a financial newsletter called the Rational Investor for five years, and written and edited numerous research reports for corporate clients.

Ketan is a chartered accountant who gave up a successful practice to focus on his first love - equities and investments. He worked with a start-up merchant banker Equisearch till 1997, when he joined Piyush Vora Securities as CEO. He now works with a venture capital advisory firm - Upstart Advisers Pvt. Ltd. Madan Mohan Rao
Madan graduated from IIT, Bombay and then completed an MS in computer science and a Ph.D. in communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was formerly Communications Director at the UN Press Service Bureau in New York. A frequent speaker on the international conference circuit, he has given talks and lectures on Internet-related issues in about 35 countries. He has worked with online services in the U.S., Brazil, and India, and is currently an online correspondent for New York-based Editor & Publisher magazine's MediaInfo site, and Malaysia-based Skali (the Altavista mirror site in Asia). His articles have also appeared in New Asia Review, Asia Internet Business, Economic Times, Business Standard, Economic and Political Weekly, IT Vision, IndiaInfo.com, IndiaInfoline.com, LAN Magazine, and Express Computer. Mahesh Joshi
Mahesh has been an active investor for over a decade. He has a passion for the equity markets, and spends his time studying stocks and writing about them. As an independent analyst, he believes that sound investment strategy must combine knowledge of company fundamentals as well as market movements, or technicals.

Nikhilesh Rao
Nikhilesh is a software professional from Hyderabad, with a passion for investing. He is as well versed in the bits and bytes that make up the Net, as the philosophies of Buffet and Soros. Pinank Mehta
A Chemical Engineer and a Textile Chemist from North Carolina State University at Raleigh, USA, Pinank Mehta ventured into the broking arena after an eight year long stint in the textile marketing business. He moved to asset management in 1996, and at present focuses on consulting and advising clients on managing their wealth. Pinank "writes publicly only on broad investment principles and philosophy and the macro economic environment insofar as it affects money." He has earlier written for the Blitz, and now writes for ValueNotes.

Prakash Gaba
Prakash Gaba is a committed Professional Technical Analyst. He is an MBA by qualification, exposed to the corporate world as a senior manager at quite an early age way back in the seventies. He is an avid reader, a Marksman and an Aviator who has a passion for flying. He loves outdoor activities, and indulges himself in trekking, river rafting, wind-surfing, scuba diving and skiing. Pravin Bhandarkar

Priya Pavithran
Priya has a BA in English Literature and a PG Degree in Mass Communications. She has been a writer and poet since her school days, and has also worked with The New Indian Express. She has been an editor with ValueNotes for a year, and also writes regular columns and features.

Pune Investors' Forum
The forum was established on November 14, 1992 as a non-profit organization with two main objectives. Firstly to advise small investors on their investments and secondly to guide them on the appropriate action to be taken where their funds are misused or blocked. The work done by the Investor's Forum to date has been path breaking and the Forum has been recognized as a well-respected advisory organization in its field. The Forum has had success in securing from various companies, refund orders, share allotment and redemption of debentures. It played a major role in securing return of fixed deposits in a company like Garware Nylon. The satisfaction of the members of the forum speaks of its success. The Forum also addresses investors through interviews and articles in investment magazines and newspapers and organizes talks by various experts, as well as workshops on related topics.

ValueNotes has been working closely with Investors' Forum, Pune in jointly publishing articles related to investor protection and investor rights as well as in providing a query service for users of the site.

Rahul Baji
Rahul is a software engineer with around 6 years of experience. After a stint with Tata Infotech Ltd., he has set up his own consulting practice and provides e-consulting services to Internet companies. He is a consultant to ValueNotes and likes to write on technical subjects as well as on issues pertaining to the IT sector.

Raghu Iyer
Raghu runs a Chartered Accountancy firm in Bombay. His firm has conducted several workshops in the areas of finance and taxation for large companies in the Indian corporate sector. He is part of the visiting faculty of S P Jain, one of Bombay's leading Business Schools. He works closely with the Bombay Stock Exchange and regularly conducts training programmes on the derivatives market.

Ramachandran T V
T V Ramachandran has a Fellow Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a PhD. in Commerce awarded by the University of Poona. Having worked as Company Secretary / Senior General Manager (Legal) for 27 years in large multinationals like Alfa Laval India, he has a keen insight into the workings of the Corporate world. He retired from service in December 1996 and has since been rendering corporate advisory services, and writing for various publications including ValueNotes.

Rational Investor
This is a monthly four-page newsletter written by Anil Joneja and Arun Jethmalani and edited by Arun Jethmalani. The newsletter is circulated (as a hard copy) by Gupta Equities to its clients, and is available for re-publishing. It reviews covers various
stocks, companies and sectors of the Indian capital markets and other investment-related issues of interest to the individual investor.

As a senior associate with the Global Corporate Finance practice of Arthur Andersen, Ritesh handles all technology and software industry clients for North India. Varsha Chitale
Varsha is a graduate of the London School of Economics, has over a decade's experience in finance and consulting. She was a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. She later moved to the Strategic Management Centre, Pune, to explore areas of interest with overseas consultancy organisations and to monitor the Indian Business Environment for the benefit of Indian clients and overseas companies with an interest in India. She is now one of the core members of the ValueNotes editorial and management team.

Vijay Bhambwani
Vijay has a degree in commerce, Diploma in Business management a Law degree, and has been in the investment arena since 1989, with his own stock-broking firm Bhambwani Securities (P) Ltd. Vijay Bhambwani has been writing for the leading financial daily " The Business Standard " on a periodic basis as a technical analyst. He has also been appointed by Aptech Internet's Q&A portal www.tringtring.com as an investment guru.

Vivek Mavani
Vivek has been an equity "nut" for several years now. Starting out with Strategic Investment & Research in 1996, he later joined the fund management / equity research team of Parag Parikh Financial Services. He was earlier contributing a regular investment column for the web-site www.dhan.com. He now works with ASK Raymond James as an analyst.

Vivek Warrier
Vivek has a Bachelors in Science from the Madras University, a Diploma in Computer Science from Andhra University and finally, an MBA from IIM, Bangalore.
