ASK N EXPERT - FAQs
 
Do you find it confusing where to invest all your hard earned money? At some point in time, all of us do... and that's where we need an "Expert" to guide us. At ValueNotes.com we have an array of experts to address your questions.
We are glad to announce the launch of our new section "Ask N Expert". This has been done with a view to make this site more interactive and resourceful for learned investors like you. Some highlights of this section are:

· Ask N Expert is rolled out for two main sections to start with, namely Equity (Fundamental) and Mutual   Funds
· You can post a question related to any of these sections.
· Some of the best expert/s from the industry will advice you on the same.
· You get a unique avenue to connect with the expert/s and get relevant and logical advice on your   investments

Q1. What should I do to ask a question?
First register yourself by doing the following

  1. Go to www.valuenotes.com
  2. Look for the Ask N Expert section on the right hand side of the page
  3. Click on any of the text links, Mutual Funds or Equity Fundamental
  4. Next you will land on a login / registration page
  5. If you are a new user, click on register now
  6. Enter all the details required and click submit button

Q2. After the registration is over, what should I do?

  1. Enter your login name and password and hit "Submit"
  2. You will be redirected to any of the two sections "Mutual Funds" or "Equity (Fundamental)"
  3. There are tabs on the page by which you can navigate between sections
  4. If you are on the Mutual Funds page, first select the type of question you want to post i.e. either select equity or fixed income.
  5. Q2.1. What kind of questions can I post on fixed income?

    1. When referring to mutual funds, the terms "fixed-income," "bond," and "income" are synonymous.
    2. Income funds are named appropriately: their purpose is to provide current income on a steady basis. These terms denote funds that invest primarily in government and corporate debt. While fund holdings may appreciate in value, the primary objective of these funds is to provide a steady cash flow to investors.
    3. You can post your question on the following:
      Bonds, fixed deposits, treasury bills, short-term debt instruments, certificate of deposit (CD), liquid funds, bank deposits etc,

    Q2.2. What kind of questions can I post on equity?

    1. Equity funds that invest in stocks represent the largest category of mutual funds. Generally, the investment objective of this class of funds is long-term capital growth with some income.
    2. You can post your question on the following:
      Equity funds, sector funds, commodities fund, index fund, thematic funds, balanced funds, growth funds or any other question relating to mutual funds.

  6. Once you decide the type of question, just enter your question in the text box and click submit
  7. Please note that you cannot use special characters like '&' and / in the questions
  8. You will get an email notification about what you have posted.
  9. Please note that we will be filtering the questions at our end. Ensure that you post relevant and clear questions.
  10. Once we approve the questions from our end, expert/s will provide feedback, which will either be mailed to you or posted on site.
  11. Feedback will be either mailed to you or posted on site or give you will get a call with feedback on the same.
  12. To post questions on stocks, click the equity fundamental tab.
  13. Enter the question in the text box and click submit button.
  14. You will get an email notification of what you have posted, and experts will respond to your query.
