FAQs

· Do I have to be a large web-site?

No, This program is open to all net publishers, small or big. Even if you simply have a personal homepage, you can become our associate. And earn money depending on the number of subscribers you refer to us.

· Do I have to be a financial web-site?

No. Any web-site can become a ValueNotes YellowPages associate. However, keep in mind that we currently accept listings only from Indian finance companies/intermediaries. So you should have some traffic that originates from India.

· How much do I get?

If a surfer from your site clicks on the registration form to buy a yellow pages lisiting, then you will receive a commission of 12% of the price of listing bought. In case the turnover generated from you site is more than Rs. 25000 per month then this could be hiked to as much as 15%.

· How do I track my payments?

ValueNotes Yellow Pages plans to hava a separate section on the site. This will be a password-protected section. You can login in here with your refereral Id and a password. A history of the total payments due and payments made will be available. Currently the payments will be tracked offline. No online report will be available to partners currently. We plan to add this feature very soon.

· When do I get paid?

We will make payments on a quarterly basis, i.e. by the 10^th of the month following the end of the quarter. The quarters are Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep and Oct-Dec. So for example, the money due to you for subscriptions collected in the Jan-Mar quarter will be paid to you by 10^th of April.

· Minimum payments

For administrative reasons, we will make payments when the amount due is greater than Rs. 1000. If the amount due is less than this, we will keep a credit in your account and pay you when the amount exceeds Rs. 1000.

· How does ValueNotes know that I have referred the customer?

When you sign up for an affiliate program with ValueNotes Yellow Pages, you are given a unique identifier. When you put up the button to ValueNotes Yellow Pages on your site, the hyperlink will contain this identifier. When the visitor enlists online or enquires through the site, ValueNotes is intimated of his action. His enquiry is assigned an identifier. This identifier is associated to your identifier in the hyperlink. The visitor may have doubts and clarifications. When all of his questions have been sucessfully answered, he will confirm his listing. Since the enquiry identifier had been mapped to your identifier, ValueNotes will be able to know that this customer has been referred by you. Due credits will be awarded to you at this juncture.
